    Joint injuries and pain are a common occurrence especially for those who undertake strenuous work. Pregnant women like, Athletes and bodybuilders are the most susceptible groups to suffer from joint pains and its related conditions due to the extra weight that you place on your bodies. Therefore, it is important to understand and care for your knee pain to prevent damage and degeneration.

    Knee pain quite often originates from tight thigh muscles. Pregnancy weight gain results in more stress on your thigh (or quadricep) muscle for walking and especially going up stairs.     One of the most common stretches is to stand on one leg while holding and pulling your other foot behind you up towards your buttocks. After holding this stretch for a few seconds, you switch to your other leg. It's a good idea to hold on to a solid support such as a railing or a sofa while doing this stretch to avoid falling. It's a good idea to do this stretch after periods of exercise, or after prolong periods of sitting.
